My unique background allows me to bring a distinctive skill set to each of my client’s projects that sets me apart from other Designers.  In addition to my Design education and over 23 years experience as an Designer, I also have a degree in Business Administration from the University of Southern California, 6 years as a Certified Public Accountant and over 6 years in the management of multi-million dollar construction companies. My clients benefit from not only my creative talents but my business acumen and construction and management knowledge as well. I am involved with the Los Angeles business community serving on the Board of Directors for the Sherman Oaks Chamber of Commerce.

My design experience began in 1990, working for and with other well-known Designers. In 2001, I began my own company, Design Synthesis. My exclusive Los Angeles residential design clientele includes several celebrities and my commercial work has includes offices and retail spaces throughout the Los Angeles area.  I have been featured on HGTV as well as numerous magazines such as the Robb Report , Electronic Home and Kitchen and Bath Design, and was awarded the "Best Of Houzz" 2014 and 2012. 

I have a passion for truly listening to my clients and creating original spaces that fulfill all of their dreams and more.  The essence of my design philosophy is epitomized in the name of my company: Design Synthesis.  I am truly adept at combining modern and traditional design components against a background of clean lines to create a synthesis that is definitely more than the sum of its parts.

 

 

 

Interior Design Services 

As a full-service Interior Design firm, Design Synthesis prides itself on its ability to service our clients' projects in every way necessary. We are happy to work on entire homes, office or retail spaces or just a single room. We gladly give every project the same outstanding attention and service. 

 

New Construction 

We can refer a team of highly qualified and reliable architects, contractors and craftsmen with whom we often associate or work with yours at your discretion. We love to work from the ground up as part of the team to ensure we are all on the same page. 

 

Remodeling, Kitchens and Baths 

We will refer our team or work with yours. We work with you to develop the space plan, floor plan, and lighting plans, producing conceptual CAD floor plans and elevations of each space. We specify and purchase materials and fixtures as needed. We work closely with all of the contractors and subcontractors to ensure that the construction conforms to our original design plan or that we are part of any changes that need to be made. 

 

Interior Decorating 

We work with you to select and purchase all of the components to complete your vision. We often custom design pieces to ensure that we can give you the perfect solution for your space. Design Synthesis assists you through the installation of every piece as well helping to select and/or place your artwork. 

 

Consultations and Color Selection 

We also offer one- time consultations for color selection and furniture placement advice. 

 

Special Design services for Realtors and Developers

 

We work with realtors and developers on Design To Sell projects, flipping and staging.
